I thought the word "saved" was replaced with "published" recently. I see most of the messages reflecting the change except the success message of VE. It still shows "Your edit was saved." and not "Your edit was published." I think it's been missed? Kaartic[talk]04:16, 2 January 2018 (UTC)

I found the editor is hanged when switching it between edit source and edit mode.
My mediawiki version is 1.31.0-alpha (75160bd) and visualeditor version is 0.1.0 (fad1466).
And I also tried with 1.30 stable visualeditor, it can be switched well.

First of all I want to speak out my thanks for this. The Gothic language has a lot of problems with typing and font display in Gothic. With the visual editor it had become possible to type and display Gothic quite well, but there is one problem, or several ones:
- On Android devices the in-built Skeirs font can be used to display Gothic, but when going to categories in the Visual Editor, it shows blocks.
- You can't properly type in Gothic on an Android device. On a laptop it works perfect, but when typing with a phone, it just displays the Latin letters on Android, except if you put the cursor in between two Gothic letters without a break, if you do this, you can type in Gothic letters, but you can't use breaks or it will switch to Latin letters again.Bokareis (talk)03:19, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
On enwiki, the access key for saving edit (S) is shown in the "Publish changes" button although it doesn't have any effect (Note: I remember turning on a preference that show the access keys like that but I'm unable to find it now, so I can't disable it!). OnlyCtrl+Enter works there. The interesting thing here is the access key isn't shown in the "Publish changes" button shown in the page while editing where it actually works! Maybe, it's misplaced. accesskey attribute isn't set for the "Publish changes" button seen while editing the page althoughAlt+Shift+S triggers the "Save your changes" modal. And today, installed it directly on my server.
Previously(heroku), I could edit the entire page without separating sections in edit mode.

While editing templates with VisualEditor, when you delete a field, it scrolls back to the top and that's very annoying when you have several fields to delete in the same template, for example in infoboxes. Is there a way to fix it? Thanks.Florn88 (talk)19:05, 11 January 2018 (UTC)

Hola, buenos días. El nuevo editor presenta un problema al previsualizar páginas, especialmente con las plantillas de transporte "BSicon". Otra desventaja es el bajo rendimiento y "lag" que se produce al editar grandes cantidades de texto. Quisiera volver al editor normal, si me dicen cómo hacerlo les estaré muy agradecido. i have a suggestion for a code block in the visual editor menu.
I know that code blocks use Extension: SyntaxHighlight.

parameters in Extension: SyntaxHighlight include line, start and highlight.
The line and start parameters can be set in the visual editor.
However, there is no highlight parameter setting.
To set the highlight, i have to switch to wikieditor from visual editor, and i should find the corresponding code, and manually add the hightlight parameter.
(ex.<syntaxhighlight lang="python" highlight="1,5-7" start='3' line> )
The highlight parameter is a function that allows you to change the background color of the desired line in the code block.
This feature is popular on other websites.
Therefore, it is very useful if we can set the highlight parameter in the visualeditor code block menu.

Every time I use the VisualEditor it doesn't respect the custom image size set, it will display the images in full size. This makes it almost useless as most image original sizes are over 2000px.
This is a wiki which has been upgraded from quite an old version (1.23 now on 1.27), though everything else is working as expected. I've tried uploading completely new images and even different image types, still the same. If you save it doesn't save the image in it's original size, just displays it when using the editor.
Any suggestions? Happy to provide any requested info.
