Edit Check is a feature developed to offer people actionable feedback about Wikipedia policies while they are editing.
The first iteration isReference Check. It consists of a prompt to encourage editors to add an inline citation before publishing new information to an article.
The second iteration isTone Check. It detects when an edit has tone issues and encourages reviewing their edit.
All edits aretagged. You cansuggest your ideas for other checks, or visitour documentation page.
Report a false positive
If Edit Check appeared when you donot think it should have, report a false positive.
