Z Koopas[1] are enemies appearing only inHotel Mario. They resembleFlying Koopas but wear white shirts and black swallowtails over their shells and sport bow ties. Z Koopas are found mostly inWendy's Blitz Snarlton Hotel, where they first show up inStage 6. They also appear often alongsideBellhop Goombas. Z Koopas appear on either the left or the right side of the screen and proceed to travel from one side to another in a zigzag pattern. Z Koopas can move freely between the different floors of a level. A Z Koopa can be defeated from either ajump or afireball.
