AYoshi Platform[1] is a flat rectangular prism created when aYoshi sprays itsjuice on enemies (such asBoos andCheep-Cheeps) inSuper Mario Sunshine. It is the same color as the Yoshi spitting the juice, and it moves according to its color. Pink platforms move vertically upward, purple ones move horizontally, and orange platforms stay where they are. All three types disappear after a short while.Block Boos can make a Yoshi Platform when sprayed withFLUDD, not just juice.Mario and a Yoshi can use the platforms to get to faraway areas. The platforms are mainly used in the episodes "Yoshi's Fruit Adventure" inRicco Harbor and "The Hotel Lobby's Secret" onSirena Beach. Two enemies, Block Boos and Cheep-Cheeps, always revert to their regular appearances. Some enemies, such as theCataquack, are instantly defeated when reverting from their platform forms to their regular forms. Other enemies, such as the giantStrollin' Stu andSleepy Boos, are unaffected by a Yoshi's juice entirely and therefore cannot become platforms.
