World Bowser (alternatively calledBowser World orBowser Land, as implied by the name of the world'sfinal level) is the eighth and final story world ofSuper Mario 3D World and itsNintendo Switch portSuper Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. Unlike most endgame worlds of theSuper Mario franchise (includingWorld Castle, which came immediately before it), World Bowser is not a volcanic stage; rather, it is a large amusement park built in the likeness ofBowser, with a Ferris wheel with a face of theKoopa Clown Car on the left and a volcano on the right, and it sits high above every preceding world.
It contains seven standard courses, four boss courses (includingBowser's Castle), aMystery House, aToad House, and aSprixie House; it is also the only normal world without anEnemy Battle. The world is apparently powered by theSprixie Princesses, who are freed upon the completion of the world's Castle. The bosses encountered here arePom Pom,Motley Bossblob,Hisstocrat, and the final boss,Meowser.

Notes[edit]
- There is a glitch where the player can get on top of the pipe leading to this world; if the player falls off the pipe, they will land inWorld 3. It was patched in the Nintendo Switch portSuper Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury.[1]
- InMario Party 10, many of theBowser Party minigames appear to take place in World Bowser or a similarly-designed area.
