Wonder Bowser Jr.[1][2] is a form ofBowser Jr. inSuper Mario Bros. Wonder. Bowser Jr. can obtain this form from theWonder power inpalaces. Wonder Bowser Jr. is dark blue in color, with green flame-like hair and bright green spikes on his purple and orange shell. Additionally, Bowser Jr.'s bandanna is similar to a bear trap in this form, with glowing green edges on it.

History[edit]

Super Mario Bros. Wonder[edit]

Mario and his friends fight Wonder Bowser Jr. four times throughout the course ofSuper Mario Bros. Wonder as they journey across theFlower Kingdom, with each time being different. In thefirst fight, the size changes for Wonder Bowser Jr. and Mario and his friends. In thesecond fight, the rising and sinking platforms change substances, such asice andhoney. Thethird fight haswater that fills the screen partway, with bubbles of water bouncing around the room, and thelast fight has Wonder Bowser Jr. creating fake clones of himself, similar toLudwig inNew Super Mario Bros. U.

Wonder Bowser Jr. also appears at the beginning of the final level,The Final Battle! Bowser's Rage Stage, where he and twoGoombas try to stop Mario and his friends with Wonder power, but both he and the Goombas end up being accidentally hit by someFire Knuckles in the process.

Wonder Bowser Jr.'s alternate form inThe Super Mario Galaxy Movie

Wonder Bowser Jr. returns inThe Super Mario Galaxy Movie as a form taken by Bowser Jr. when using hismagic brush to free hisfather from his imprisonment inPeach's Castle. Unlike inSuper Mario Bros. Wonder, his bandanna's mouth is 2D-animated with yellow glowing edges with visible paint marks instead of green, while his green flame-like hair is replaced with flowing paint streaks. In contrast to his base form in the film, the rings around his shell's spikes are harshly separated from the rest of the shell, much like his standard design. Most of his body is highly reflective in this form, and his head has a painted surface texture. His form is created by the goop paint from his magic brush.[3] At one point in the film, Wonder Bowser Jr. gains a color scheme similar toFury Bowser's, and his bandanna's mouth is no longer 2D-animated and resembles how it did inSuper Mario Bros. Wonder.[4]
