Whack-a-Plant is a 1-Playerminigame inMario Party.
Overview[edit]
Based onWhack-a-Mole, the minigame features the playerstomping thePiranha Plants appearing from thepipes.[1] The player earns oneCoin from each stomp. One Piranha Plant pops out at first, added by one more when they next emerge, for up to eight in total. The player can get up to 36 Coins; collecting every Coin causes the "new record/perfect" theme to play. The minigame ends in a "Miss!" if the player does not get any Coins, and they do not lose five afterward, unlike many other 1-Player minigames.
It costs 200 Coins to buy the minigame at theMini-Game House.

- Game Rules –"Jump on the Piranha Plants that come out of the pipes and knock them back down. Get Coins for each one you jump on."
- Game Rules (Mini-Game Island) –"Jump on the Piranha Plants and knock them down the pipes.Get 25 or more Coins to clear the game."
- Advice –"You can reach the farthest flowers with a long jump. Hold down to do a long jump."
