TheWestern Set is a location inMario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, exclusively in theRayman in the Phantom Show DLC. It is part of theSpace Opera Network.
The heroes travel to the Western Set to help thePhantom boost the ratings of the network. They are then tasked by the Phantom to destroy all of the bandit cardboard cutouts. After doing so, the heroes have a showdown with the bandits' leader,Sydney Rabbidwhacker, and defeat him in battle. After the battle, the Western Set is saved.
Layout[edit]
The Western Set consists of a row of buildings, similar to how Western towns are depicted. In these buildings are cardboard cutouts of bandits thatRayman canpunch. ATeleport Flag is found close to the entrance to this set. After theThe Western Set mainQuest is completed,Victor will appear by the entrance and have a "Cutout Punchout" challenge for the heroes.
At the far left of the Western Set, aSquashette is guarding a treasure chest containing the OperaticBlasterWeapon Skin forRayman.

The show using this set is entitled The Ballad of Plungerhands McMurdy. A typical episode involves the titular character strolling into a small town looking for respite, only to tangle with a greedy "indoor plumbing baron". Galaxy Confidential called it "adequately entertaining", and gave the show its "Nice To Have On In The Background" Award (honorable mention).
