Wavy Waters is the second level ofWiggly Wilds inWario Land: Shake It! It is the first of three underwater levels in the game, as the player takes control of theSubwarine.
Unlike most levels in the game, Wavy Waters does not require the player to run back to the beginning of the level to exit it. During gameplay,Wario is in a Subwarine underwater and has to maneuver it through coral reefs and enemies. Near the end of the level, Wario finds a purpleMerfle caged in aMerfle Barrel and needs to shoot it to move the cage between two walls. The walls then close, displaying a pink button. Wario then needs to shoot the button, with enemies swarming around. Once the button sustains enough damage, the wall in Wario's path explodes, letting him pass it and finish the level.
