TheWaterfall Area[1] is a location inThe Super Mario Bros. Movie. It features various tall rocks emerging from the water as well as a bridge crossing through it withCheep Cheeps jumping from both sides, referencingWorld 2-3 andWorld 7-3 fromSuper Mario Bros.

The Waterfall Area is one of the locations visited byMario,Princess Peach, andToad during their journey to reach theJungle Kingdom. While crossing the area's bridge, a Cheep Cheep latches onto Mario's face. In the film's second trailer, this scene is extended to show Princess Peach pulling the Cheep Cheep off Mario's face, which then latches onto Toad's face.[2]
