Waki-Waki is a large tropical and volcanic island located inLava Land; as well as having a large amount ofMushroom natives on it (the Aloha People), Waki-Waki also has various types ofbutterflies and anOstro living on it.

InThe Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Too Hot to Handle",Mario,Luigi,Toad andPrincess Toadstool travel to Waki-Waki in search of itsFire God, who had promised to help them defeatKing Koopa and free theMushroom Kingdom. After a lot of trouble, Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool manage to save Waki-Waki from being destroyed byFryguy and King Koopa, who disguises himself as the Fire God, and theirLava Machine.
