Wacky Pipes^[1]^[2] is a high-ranking member of theTiki Tak Tribe.

History[edit]

Donkey Kong Country Returns (3D /HD)[edit]

In the opening cutscene ofDonkey Kong Country Returns and its3DS andNintendo Switch ports, Wacky Pipes can be seen bursting out of one of the rocks ejected fromDonkey Kong Island's volcano. It then hypnotizes a giraffe and a squirrel, as part of a plot to stealbananas across Donkey Kong Island.

The transition for being defeated in levels of theForest depicts Wacky Pipes' silhouette, except for in Time Attack mode.

In the boss level of theForest world,Mangoruby Run, onceMangoruby wakes up Wacky Pipes hypnotizes it to fightDonkey Kong andDiddy Kong. Once Mangoruby is defeated, Wacky Pipes is left dizzy and vulnerable to attack. Attacking it and knocking it into the distance completes the level, or it can be left to recover and fly away to the same effect.

In the final level of the game,Tiki Tong Terror, Wacky Pipes and the other high-ranking members of the Tiki Tak Tribe partake in a ritual converting them into hands forTiki Tong. The hands are destroyed in the battle.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]

InSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate, Wacky Pipes is part of the Tiki Tak Tribe spirit, which includes all of the members who hypnotize bosses inDonkey Kong Country Returns.
