“It's a state-of-the-art virtual-reality device fitted with a fancy red screen! Really cutting-edge stuff! And red is all the rage, you know?”
Professor E. Gadd,Luigi's Mansion 3

TheVirtual Boo is a device created byProfessor E. Gadd inLuigi's Mansion 3, modeled after theVirtual Boy. Like theGame Boy Horror andDual Scream in the previous games, it allowsLuigi to communicate to E. Gadd, displays mission objectives and a map of the current floor, and displays the pause menu. Like on the actual Virtual Boy, its screen is displayed only in red and black colors. Its ringtone is an arrangement of "Title Theme (Humming)" fromLuigi's Mansion.
