Twilight City is the final regularWorld found in the gameMario vs. Donkey Kong and itsremake. It is the sixth regular world in the originalGame Boy Advance version and the eighth regular world in theNintendo Switch remake. The entire world is a high-technology city, consisting of lasers, robots, and metal platforms. The city introducesWrench Shy Guys, which can be found in a couple levels, andRobo Kikkis, which are quicker versions ofMonchees.
This world presents some significant differences in the remake. The level select menu's colors are changed from indigo to pink, and the music present in this world in the remake is completely different, opting for a more jazzier feel in comparison to the more upbeat percussion and melodies similar toFire Mountain. The background in most levels now overlooks an entire city with several buildings, as opposed to a construction site-like setting with several girders of rounded edges.
