Turntable
From the Super Mario Wiki, the Mario encyclopedia
Jump to navigationJump to searchTurntable is a souvenir that players can unlock inWarioWare: Touched! It plays music. In order to unlock it, players need to score over fifteen points inSnore Rope. Players can choose from "Ashley's Theme", "Mario Paint", or "Hogan's Alley". Players can speed up the songs by spinning the record on the turntable.
This souvenir causedcontroversy surrounding the English version of "Ashley's Theme", whose lyrics, when sped up via this souvenir, can be misinterpreted as "I have granted kids toHell" due to the distortion and skipping caused by the sped up audio. BothNintendo andNintendo Power stated that this was unintentional.[1]
