TheTriplets are threeMini Goomba siblings fromSuper Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars andits remake. They are the "little ones" ofGoomhilde, who fledBowser's Minions out of fear of fightingSmithy, and ended up running a small shop inMonstro Town. After they are introduced to "Uncle Bowser" by their mother, they offer their services as a way to help him get hiskeep back. While their mother sells some equipment and refreshments, the only item the Triplets themselves sell is a variety ofMushroom that turns the party member it is used on into aMushroom (like the effect of theFunguspike orPetal Blast special moves). The item restores 30HP immediately, and the party member, though unable to attack, continues to steadily recover more HP until the effect wears off as usual.
