Treadmill is the firstminigame inMario Tennis: Power Tour for the Game Boy Advance. This minigame helpsClay orAce build up speed. Speed will benefit them for theirPower Shot. The control for jumping is the
button and to run faster, the player must press the
button. The player will run on a treadmill and be informed of any change. An arrow pointing up will be on a screen if the treadmill is about to move up. An arrow pointing down indicates the treadmill is about to move down. There is a caution sign if an item, such as aBanana or aBarrel is about to come on the treadmill. If the player completes level one of the task, they will unlock theRunning Save, and if the player earns enough experience points or completes Level 3, they will unlock theSuperswift Save. The pattern of Treadmill repeats after the player character runs 500 steps.

Level 1:Dodge the barrels and bananas without falling off the conveyer belt. You need to run 100 meters.
Level 2:Dodge the barrels and bananas without falling off the conveyer belt. You need to run 150 meters.
Level 3:Dodge the barrels and bananas without falling off the conveyer belt. You need to run 200 meters.
