ATrain Bandit[1] is one of the enemies inSuper Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its remakeYoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. They are chalk drawings ofShy-Guys found on walls in certainlevels.
Train Bandits first appear inWatch Out For Lakitu and reappear inRaphael The Raven's Castle. They chase after aYoshi only while he is aTrain, but even then, they can move only up to the borders of the wall. The player can only defeat a Train Bandit using either aWinged Cloud Maker orAnywhere POW. In the remake, Train Bandits are also inGo! Go! Morphing!, where aPOW Block can defeat them.

- Shogakukan guide: 壁から抜け出して追いかけてくる。ダッシュで逃げよう。[2] (They will come out of the wall and chase you. Dash to escape.)
- Player's Guide:These pistol-packing varmints try to hold up Yoshi after he's morphed into a steam engine.[1]
- Shogakukan guide (Game Boy Advance version): ヨッシーがきかんしゃに変身する場所に出現。レールを走っていると、かべからぬけ出して追いかけてくる。倒せないのでダッシュで逃げろ！[3] (They appear in places where Yoshi transforms into a train. When you travel along a rail, they will escape from the wall and chase after you. You can't beat them, so dash away!)
