Toopa Strikers are alternate versions ofKoopa Striker enemies found inSuper Paper Mario; they are encountered inThe Bitlands, in Chapter 3-1. They are a kind ofKoopa Striker and as such, resembleKoopa Troopas with large red eyebrows and a black and white checkered shell, although they wear green-yellow clothes. They have the same stats as a Koopa Striker as well, but they behave differently: pairs of Toopa Strikers kick the shell back and forth between them. Their name is a reference to this teamwork, a pun on "two".
Toopa Strikers first ambush the player by jumping out of the grass, with one on each side. They may try to trick the player by kicking the shell upward, and may kick the shell to make it encased in fire. They also back away from the player when they are close to these characters. However if one partner is defeated, the other one attacks like a regular Koopa Striker but they still can kick the shell if it hits a wall or if the player kicks the shell at them. They are the only Striker that are absent in theFlipside Pit of 100 Trials, and Toopa Strikers are rare, with only 4 of these enemies appearing in the game.
Toopa Strikers all have the ability toFlip between dimensions.
