Tommy Treehugger, erroneously listed in the credits asTommytreehugger, is a teenager who appears in theClub Mario segments ofThe Super Mario Bros. Super Show! andThe Legend of Zelda. Tommy Treehugger is a rock and roll fan, as well as a fan ofMario. Tommy, along withCo-MC, are the co-hosts of the show.Evil Eric, Co-MC's brother, sometimes causes trouble for Tommy.Tammy Treehugger is Tommy's youngest sister, who is more of a nuisance. Throughout the episodes, Co-MC and Tommy joke around, although Co-MC is slightly more serious on set. When Co-MC dresses as a pirate, Tommy is made to play a parrot by looking over Co-MC's shoulder. Tommy does not like playing a parrot, but Co-MC says it is his own fault as he did not appear at the staff meetings that would determine theClub Mario themes, unlike Co-MC, who received the pirate role because he attended the meetings.

- Tommy's last name,Treehugger, is a slang term for "environmentalist." Although Tommy brings up a couple of environmental issues during the show's run, his persona is more of a California surfer stereotype, preferring to enjoy life and do his job onClub Mario.
