Tobawani are enemies in the gameWario Land 4, exclusively appearing in theMonsoon Junglelevel. They resemble green alligators with orange scuba tanks and snorkeling masks. These enemies reside in bodies of water and can be very aggressive. They will attackWario by leaping out of the water and biting him with their sharp teeth. If they see Wario in the water, they will also swim faster toward him. Tobawani can be dispatched several ways; the first one isdashing into its belly when it falls into the water; the second one is using aSuper Smash Attack from above, after it falls back to water and begin rushing away. Both methods require the player to firstly lure a Tobawani to jump out of the water. Each lake will contain more Tobawani the higher the difficulty setting is, with Normal mode having only one.
Tobawani are similar to theUkiwani fromWario Land: Super Mario Land 3, which swim slower and have a shorter leap.
