Tiki Buzzes are members of theTiki Tak Tribe and enemies inDonkey Kong Country Returns and itsNintendo 3DS andNintendo Switch ports. They are tikis shaped like a bongo drum and are nearly the size ofDiddy Kong. They have carved black eyeballs, a yellow beak, red wings and brown tail feathers, as well as three beaded strings attached to the bottom.

Tiki Buzzes fly in various patterns. Some do not move at all, some move from left to right while others move up and down. At the edges of their movement range they reverse direction. Tiki Buzzes do not flap their wings to move downward and are faster when doing so. The player takes damage when they collide with a Tiki Buzz's sides or bottom, but a Tiki Buzz can be defeated with any attack. TheKongs can jump on them to reach higher locations and cross wide gaps. Tiki Buzzes are common inMine Cart levels, such asCrazy Cart, where theKongs must often land their Mine Cart on them to reach higher rails. Their behavior is comparable toNeckies fromDonkey Kong Country.

Tiki Buzzes are enemies in theSmash Run mode ofSuper Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, and can be defeated from being jumped on, like inDonkey Kong Country Returns. There is also atrophy of a Tiki Buzz.

Tiki Buzzes appear inWarioWare: Get It Together! as enemies in theDonkey Kong Country Returns microgame where they must be defeated. They either fly back and forth or up and down.

This member of the Tiki Tak Tribe appears in Donkey Kong Country Returns. It'd be really tempting to see what kind of sound that drum-shaped head of his would make. In Smash Run, they do a dive-bomb attack if a fighter passes below. You can bounce off their heads to boost your own jump!(American English)
A drum-shaped, bird-like creature from the Tiki Tak Tribe. In Smash Run, they float around in the air, and if they end up above you, they'll suddenly drop down, right on your head. Jump on them instead, though, and you can bounce off and go flying through the air. So think twice before you tell these guys to buzz off!(British English)
