Tiki Boings areTiki Tak Tribe enemies that appear inDonkey Kong Country Returns and itsNintendo 3DS andNintendo Switch ports. They commonly appear in the levelsJagged Jewels,Longshot Launch, andTippy Shippy. Tiki Boings are drum-like Tikis that resembleTiki Goon, though Tiki Boings have red wings and a tan body. They use their spring-like bodies to repeatedly bounce high in the air, trying to attackDonkey andDiddy Kong. Like Tiki Goons, Tiki Boings can be defeated by beingjumped on or struck with abarrel. In the concept art, the Tiki has arms, but in the game, none of them have them.

Tiki Boings are similar toFluffs fromDonkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, although Tiki Boings are faster and have a shorter jump.

"Early Lava Tiki"
  • There is concept artwork of a similar enemy referred to as "Early Lava Tiki" that would use lava as a form of propulsion. The image can be unlocked in-game by collecting allPuzzle Pieces inRoasting Rails. The picture'sFrench and Italian titles ("Tiki Lave (Tiki Hop initial)" and "Bozzetto Tiki Balzo (Tiki Lava)" respectively) suggest that this enemy is actually an early design or variant of the Tiki Boing.
