The Wind Master (also referred to asChallengers Episode 2 andChallengers 2) is the second Challengers episode in the Story Mode of theNintendo 3DS version ofMario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. The episode is unlocked after completingThe Blocked Bridge, and unlocks the episodeEnter Bowser?! upon its completion. This episode, along with the other Challengers and Girls episodes, must be completed to earn the Story Mode 2 badge, and its completion is also required to unlock the Story Mode Cleared badge.
Plot[edit]
Yoshi,Sonic,Tails,Shadow andSilver cornerJet, who does not know what they want. Yoshi and Tails explain that they want to know if he knows anything about thePhantasmal Fog. Jet does not know anything, though he thinks that Sonic may have something to do with it. Tails explains about theFog machine they found yesterday producing the fog, and that they are trying to find out if there is another one byTower Bridge. Yoshi asks Jet if he would help them look for the machine, but he instead decides he wants to look for it himself to try and claim it for the Babylon Rogues to profit off. Shadow and Silver refuse to let him do that and challenge him to an Olympic event, though when Jet claims he could beat them both, Silver gets angry and Shadow decides that is best that he takes Jet on alone.
After being defeated by Shadow, Jet agrees to help the others out. They ask him to help look for the machine from the skies, though Jet has already found it. Jet tries to break the machine, but fails to do so and gets knocked down. The group then hear what sounds likeBowser's laughter.
