Tall Trunk's Big Slide is the second mission of theTall Trunk Galaxy inSuper Mario Galaxy 2 and itsNintendo Switchport. The music that plays during this mission (when entering the slide) is an arrangement of "Slider" fromSuper Mario 64.
Layout[edit]
Like with theprevious mission, the player starts at the base of the big tree, though this time they need to use swings to climb up the tree and reach theLaunch Star above. The Launch Star will send the player to a long slide the player needs to go down. The slide has manySpinies, regular and madWigglers,prickly plants, and large gaps the player has to avoid. Additionally, the player can change how gravity affects them by moving around in the tunnels, and if the player leaves the tunnel while upside-down, they will fall and lose a life. If the player makes it to the planet at the end of the slide, one of theWhittles will reward them with thePower Star.
