Takko are blue alien cephalopod creatures withBlooper-like eyes that appear inYoshi's Crafted World. They only appear in theMoon portion ofThe Countdown Begins, and cannot be defeated or turned into eggs. A Takko can be used as a springboard ifYoshi jumps on it, making it expel a cloud of ink. If YoshiGround Pounds it, he will be propelled higher. The ink scares nearbyShy Guys, causing them to run away; this method is used to lure Shy Guys carryingRed Coins from underneath a semi-solid platform. Yoshi can also carry Takko in his mouth, and spit them into a new position. However, if a Takko is left in the same position for too long, it will teleport back to its original spot.
