Tail Wheels[1] are objects inSuper Mario 3D Land. These wooden wheels are hidden inBrick Blocks on top of someplatforms and can rotate whentail-whipped byTanooki Mario, causing the platform to ascend and allowing him to reach a new area. A Tail Wheel is also an object inMario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, where the skaters inMario's Figure Skating Spectacular use a Tail Wheel by performing a spin to return toPeach's Castle.
