Thesun[1][2][3] is an invulnerable enemy inWario Land 3 found in the daytime only. It flies around and spits fireballs atWario that triggerHot Wario if touched, causing him to run in a frenzy. This enemy appears inThe Vast Plain andThe Colossal Hole. In the latter, if Wario is below the sky, the sun does not pursue him. During the night, it is replaced byMr. Moon.
The sun's appearance is similar to that of theAngry Sun fromSuper Mario Bros. 3, and it shares the same generic name in Japanese.
