Stilts are enemies inDonkey Kong Country Returns and itsNintendo 3DS andNintendo Switch ports. They are turkey-like enemies that usually appear walking on a pair of bamboo stems that they use as stilts. They have white and yellow plumage and an orange tail and wings, though their body is pink. Stilts are mostly featured in theRuins world.
Stilts are vulnerable tobarrel rolls and can bejumped on. Alternatively, they can be instantly defeated if abarrel is thrown at them. When theKongs perform either move on Stilts, it loses its stilts and feathers, and it runs about in a frantic pace. The Kongs can then easily defeat the Stilts by hitting into it. Stilts are rarely encountered without their stilts or feathers.
