State Troopas are members ofKing Koopa'sKoopa Pack and are a variety ofTroopa. They are featured inThe Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Toad Warriors", where they act as King Koopa's corrupt police force and soldiers. Their name is a portmanteau of Troopa, relating to their appearance, andstate trooper, a type of police officer.
State Troopas have a punk style appearance, having large, pointy and pink mohawks, dark sunglasses, and shirts with ties. State Troopas also utilize various amounts of equipment, such asBob-Ombs, projectile spittingCobrats and vehicles seemingly made of junk, such as barrels and toilets.
