Astar[1] is anenemy inSuper Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Stars are mainly in thestar stage, but there is one at thesecret level of theSpace Zone. Clusters of them form a wall that cannot be passed, and they sometimes move back and forth in space. The enemies can be defeated using aSuper Star. Stars are pictured with a variation of the Starman artwork fromSuper Mario Bros., depicting a smile instead of a frown like in-game.

Naming[edit]
The English version of theSuper Mario Bros. Encyclopedia erroneously refers to this enemy as "Sutazu,"[3] based on its Japanese name, "Sutāzu" (which had been used on the Super Mario Wiki from 2014 to 2017).
