Stampede! (referred to asYoshi Stampede in thetips) isYoshi'sFinal Smash inSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate, replacing his previous Final Smash,Super Dragon, fromSuper Smash Bros. Brawl andSuper Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS /Wii U. After Yoshi breaks theSmash Ball and activates his Final Smash, he lunges forward, sending any opponents in front of him to a canyon-like area, where a stampede of different-coloredYoshis run in from the background and trample them. After the cinematic ends, the opponent(s) are launched away. The initial attack covers a fair distance, and can potentially KO Yoshi if he misses and is close to the edge of the screen. If Yoshi fails to land the attack on an opponent, the Final Smash does not play out. The Final Smash cinematic is based on Yoshi's appearance inSuper Smash Bros. Melee's opening.
