Stair Scare is a Duelminigame inMario Party Advance.

Overview[edit]

The minigame opens with an earthquake occurring suddenly, so the two players run up the staircase as the stairs individually drop.[1]

Each player tries to make it to the top of the staircase and enter thehot-air balloon to win. However, if the player goes too far ahead of their opponent, they win automatically.[citation needed]

On the first floor ofDuel Tower in theShroom City mode, Stair Scare is played againstWhomp. After winning, the player continues to the next floor and unlocks the minigame.
