Stage 8-2 is the second level ofRocky-Valley in theGame Boy version ofDonkey Kong. This level revolves around dodgingChikuchiku's and aDōryī while exploiting conveyor belts to bring thekey to thedoor.

Layout[edit]

Mario starts on a platform above aladder, left to alift which is moving downwards and right to a row of four boxed squares with tree sand platforms and a Chikuchiku in each. Right to those is a Dōryī and a nook with alever and the key. Mario must move right from his starting position while preferably jumping over theCrumble Blocks and dodging the Dōryī. Once he reaches the nook, Mario must pull the lever in order to make the moving platforms in the far-right side of the level move upwards. Then the player must either bring the key to the moving platforms while dodging the Dōryī or fall in and out of the cubes containing the Chikuchiku's while dodging said enemy, then drop the key and subsequentlycrouch on the conveyor belt to go back to the start of the stage, while picking the key back up. Once the player has done that they must ride the moving platform, jump onto the final conveyor belt and reach the door with the key to end the stage.
