Variants

Sprite Bulbs are spirits or fairies that thrive onConnectar energy that appear inMario & Luigi: Brothership. They are yellow with light bulb-shaped bodies, black eyes, and white wings on their back. Sprite Bulbs are found by pulling them out of glowing nests in the field and then collecting them as they fly around. Luigi can useLuigi Logic to catch them faster. Some Sprite Bulb nests only appear at later points in the game.

When Sprite Bulbs are cut off from their Connectar stimulus, they becomeSpite Bulbs which are used to createGlohm.Gobblick,Sharpcask, andPipegunk each swallow Spite Bulbs to power themselves up, and when they are defeated, the Spite Bulbs revert to regular Sprite Bulbs. Spite Bulbs look like regular Sprite Bulbs, but their bodies and wings are red, and they have white angry eyes and a spike on top.

Lumenade[edit]

Sprite Bulb bodies are full of Lumenade, which is used to createBattle Plugs. The amount of Lumenade given by each Sprite Bulb varies depending on their size. Smaller Sprite Bulbs give one Lumenade, medium-sized ones give three Lumenade, and larger ones give ten Lumenade. They are then stored insideSnoutlet.
