Spiny Orb

TheSpiny Capsule first appears in the gameMario Party 5, where it can be thrown to a space on the board, or used on the player for fivecoins. The victim is chosen by a spinner and the coins are taken from the victim to whoever used it. Anyone who lands on a space containing this capsule also gets a spinning wheel to steal coins from another opponent. In Party Mode, the victim loses 10 coins, while in Story Mode, the victim loses 5 coins. In the gameMario Party 6, it is known as theSpiny Orb. It costs five coins at theOrb Shop. The player who lands on the space containing theOrb gets attacked by Spiny Shells and loses ten coins, which are then given to the owner of that space. In the gameMario Party 7, it reappears as a Roadblock orb, meaning that simply passing by the space triggers the orb and the coins are not given to the owner, and theHammer Bro Orb replaces its function instead. It does not work if the player is under the effect of aMetal Mushroom Orb.
