Special pipes inMario Kart Tour arepipes in each tour starting from the2020 Yoshi Tour that are different from the spotlight pipes, offering an opportunity to acquire drivers,karts andgliders from past tours, normally with a better chance than the first time. On rare occasions, there can be two special pipes in a tour. New drivers, karts, and gliders are also sometimes included in special pipes. Starting from theBattle Tour, special pipes are removed in favor of the Spotlight Shops.
