Effect Lets Mario perform a standard Jump attack that has a chance toreduce the defense of the targeted enemy.
Description(s) Wear this to use Soft Stomp. 2 FP are required to use this attack, which can make foes soft if executed superbly. Wearing two or more of these badges requires more FP for the move, but enemies stay soft for longer.(Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Nintendo GameCube) Wear this to use Soft Stomp. 2 FP are required to use this attack, which may make a foe temporarily soft and drop their Defense. However, it can't drop their Defense below 0! Soft Stomp is abadge inPaper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It is found inRogueport Underground, in the bottom-left corner of the area with residents, can be bought from theLovely Howz of Badges for seventy-fivecoins, and rarely dropped after battle bySpiky Goombas,Spiky Gloombas, andIce Puffs. IfMario equips it, he is now able to perform the Soft Stomp attack, ajump attack, for twoFP. The move behaves similarly as a normal jump attack, also dealing the same damage as one, but upon coming into contact with an enemy, even if theAction Command is not performed properly, they become "softened", lowering their defense by three points for three turns. If multiple copies of the badge are equipped, the amount of FP needed to use the move is increased, but the amount of turns the enemy stays soft increases by two per additional badge.
