Snoutlet is a main character fromMario & Luigi: Brothership. He is a flying piggy bank-like creature who is good friends withConnie and acts asMario andLuigi's advisor throughout their adventure inConcordia where he resides. Despite his name, appearance, and the various pig-related puns he makes, he repeatedly insists that he is not a pig. Additionally, his eyes are placed on his outlet-like "snout". His role is similar toStuffwell,Starlow, andPrince Dreambert from previousMario & Luigi titles as the brothers' primary companion. Unlike the previous companions, Snoutlet stores himself under Luigi's cap rather than in Mario's overalls. He shares the same species with Concordia's guardian, theGreat Conductor, and is his assistant.
During one part of the final battle, Snoutlet must be saved from aDoom Bloom, and his rescue opens up aLuigi Logic option where he (reluctantly) creates a plug-like craft similar to the oneMario andLuigi rode during the first phase of the fight to enterWeeping Reclusa's maw.
Snoutlet also makes a cameo appearance as a statue alongside Luigi that can be placed in Kingdom Builder inSuper Mario Run, added in aMario & Luigi: Brothership-themed event. It is unlocked upon completing six missions during said event.
Since January 12th, 2026, theNintendo Music app has featured a Snoutlet playlist. It contains 4 tracks fromMario & Luigi: Brothership and is 9 minutes long.
