Snootles are green circular enemies introduced inSuper Mario Bros. Wonder. They appear exclusively in the levelValley Fulla Snootles. Snootles jump periodically and bounce off walls. Some Snootles can be seen bumpingGoombas around. A rare larger variant, theBig Snootle, can also be found.

Naming[edit]

Snootles' name comes from "snoot," an informal term for a nose. Several of the Snootles' names in other languages include the word "pig" or an onomatopoeia of a pig's oink, in reference to their rounded snout resembling a that of a pig's.
