TheSnifit Patrol, also referred to asShy Guy Cops,[1] is the police force ofSpace Land inMario Party 2 andMario Party Superstars. Players can pay them to set up a "speed trap" when they come across a unit standing by. They chase after speedingWhomps andThwomps to ensure the safety of the players playing on the board when a player lands on aHappening Space; when a speed trap is set, the chase lasts longer.

InMario Party 2, the Snifit Patrol is specifically run by theSnifits fromSuper Mario 64; they are shown without lower bodies in their icons, and additionally lack the black masksSnifits usually wear. InMario Party Superstars, the Snifit Patrol is instead run by typical Snifits.

A member of the Snifit Patrol makes a cameo inSuper Mario Party Jamboree, occasionally appearing alongside a speedingWhomp in place of the speedingBroozer inRoll 'em Raceway.
