Smooch Spiders are four legged yellow and white spiders with large lips, spikes on their bottoms, and white beads for feet. They first appear inYoshi's Woolly World and reappear in the remakePoochy & Yoshi's Woolly World. They attempt to hurtYoshi by pulling the web Yoshi's on and then trying to kiss him to hurt him. If Yoshi makes contact with a Smooch Spider, he will also get hurt. They cannot be defeated from eating or stomping them, though, unlike theirsmaller counterpart, they can be stunned by throwing ayarn ball at them. Some Smooch Spiders move up and down and some swing back and forth. In one small area, about four Smooch Spiders spin a large web harmoniously. If a Smooch Spider kisses something other than Yoshi himself, Yoshi is able to eat the heart they make and turn it to a pink yarn ball.Shy Guys andbeads can be found tangled in their webs.
Smooch Spiders only appear in the levelLair of the Smooch Spiders.
