Smashing-Stone Tower, orRock-Candy Mines-Tower is the firstTower level ofRock-Candy Mines inNew Super Luigi U. It is unlocked whenPorcupuffer Cavern is completed, and its completion unlocksSpike's Seesaws andLight-Up-Lift Tower. Thesecret exit in this course leads toSpine Coaster Stowaways.

Layout[edit]

The level starts in a tower withGrrrols and platforms that must be climbed up to progress. Two Grrrol generators are found on either side of the area. Two more Grrrol generators are in the section following, andHidden Blocks below them must be hit in order to cause the Grrrols to destroyBrick Blocks blocking the path.1-Up Mushrooms can be found in some of the Hidden Blocks. A large section of Brick Blocks follow, and is cleared out by twoMega Grrrols.Pipe Cannons are found, and lead to the boss door whereBoom Boom awaits.Magikoopa transforms Boom Boom's arms into wings prior to the battle. He must be hit three times in order to be defeated.

Secret exit[edit]

The secret exit is found by entering a pipe near the end of the level. Once there, the player must perform aGround Pound in the slanted area. The secret exit leads toSpine Coaster Stowaways.
