Slime Drops (originally known asLemon Drops)[1] are enemies inSuper Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island andits reissue. They look like gooey lemon drops and are found in only a fewlevels. They are especially prominent inSalvo The Slime's Castle, where they break offSalvo the Slime when he is hit. They also appear inPrince Froggy's Fort.
InNintendo Puzzle Collection, yellow and blue Slime Drops cascade down the screen when a stage of Round 3 is cleared in the Action Mode ofYoshi no Cookie.
Slime Drops also appear inYoshi's New Island in the levelSlime Drop Drama. AYoshi can defeat Slime Drops by eating orjumping on them.
What appears to be Slime Drops make a cameo appearance inMario Party 4 inSlime Time. They appear as small blue drops instead of yellow.

The original English name of "Lemon Drop" is a play on theyellow candy of the same name and its behavior.
