Sleepy Stomp, originally known asSleep Stomp, is abadge in thePaper Mario series, appearing inPaper Mario andPaper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. InPaper Mario, it can be bought fromRowf's Badge Shop for inToad Town for seventy-fivecoins. InPaper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it is the reward for reaching the tenth floor of thePit of 100 Trials, can be bought from theLovely Howz of Badges for seventy-five coins, and can rarely be dropped after a battle againstFuzzies,Dark Puffs, andBoos. IfMario is equipped with it, he gains access to the Sleepy Stomp move (Sleep Stomp inPaper Mario), ajump attack that costs twoFP. The move acts like the standard jump attack, but the target of the attack has a chance of being afflicted with theSleepy status (dependent on the enemy; some enemies always fall asleep, while others are immune to it), which makes them fall asleep for five turns. Wearing multiple copies of the badges increases the amount of FP required to use the move, but also increases how long the enemy stays asleep.
