Skeletons areenemies in theDonkey Kong for theGame Boy. They are composed of only a single human skull, despite their name suggesting otherwise. They are first encountered inStage 5-2. Skeletons crawl on the ground from side to side and hurl bones atMario if he approaches them. Touching a Skeleton or getting hit by its bones results in Mario losing a life. Skeletons, as well as their bone projectiles, can be crushed with ahammer.

名前の通りスケルトン(ガイコツ)のモンスター。ドクロだけが床をはい回って、ときどき骨を投げてくる。この骨は、壁をすり抜けて飛んでくるので、近づかない方がいい。[1]

Bones fly through the wall

A skeleton monster, as the name suggests. Only the skulls crawl around on the floor and sometimes throw bones. These bones fly through walls, so it is best to stay away from them.
