TheSitting Room is an optional room in Area Four ofthe mansion inLuigi's Mansion andits remake. The table has a constantly lit candle on it, a source ofFire Elemental Ghosts, and is surrounded by an easy chair and a sofa around it. Meanwhile, a small drawer in the southwest corner has a vase that is a source of Water Elemental Ghosts. A plant in the northwest corner can be watered for aGold Bar.

WhenLuigi enters the Sitting Room, the door seals behind him. He can use aFire Elemental Ghost to light some sconces on the north wall of the room, causing fiveGold Ghosts and twoTemper Terrors to appear. The doors become unsealed once theghosts have been caught.

In the PAL Hidden Mansion, the Sitting Room has twoTemper Terrors and three redGhost Guys.

In the 3DS Hidden Mansion, aSpeedy Spirit will appear from the easy chair, which will give the player 20 coins, 5 bills, and 2 gold bars.
