Shyndeliers (originally calledChandeli-hos) are a type ofShy Guy inSuper Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars andits remake. After theSmithy Gang's takeover inBowser's Keep, the Shyndeliers replaceChaindeliers as holders of the big chandeliers in the keep.
Shyndeliers are seen in the battle againstBoomer. AfterMario defeats Boomer, Boomer cuts off his Shyndelier's connection to the chandelier and falls down with it. The Shyndelier holding the chandelier with Mario and his party on it then takes them up to the highest tower of the keep to battleExor. In theNintendo Switch version, the Shyndeliers are seen again holding the chandelier when the battle room is visited again.
If the original game is hacked to give aparty member a speed above 200 in the battle with Boomer, it is possible to target Chandeli-ho (whomay have once been a planned enemy). In the Japanese version, its battle label is blanked, while in the English version, it is known as "Hangin' Shy." It also has a uniquethought in the Japanese version, but shares the line "Minimum wage for THIS?!" withBooster'sSnifits in the English version.[1]
