TheShamrock Kingdom, also known asShamrock Land, is a kingdom similar toIreland, which was seen inThe Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Mighty McMario and the Pot of Gold."
The Shamrock Kingdom is named for the many shamrocks that grow throughout the land, much like theMushrooms that grow in theMushroom Kingdom. ManyStonehenge-type structures can be found throughout the land. It is also whereKing O'Koopa had built one of his castles, where he hid thePot of Gold Coins that he stole fromMurphy, a leprechaun resident of the Shamrock Kingdom.
It is possible that Murphy and his Pot of Gold Coins are somehow connected to the Shamrock Kingdom, for when the coins are stolen by King O'Koopa, the bad luck that it brings Murphy triggers a rainstorm which nearly floods the entire Kingdom.
The Shamrock Kingdom is a very rural place, as the only notable buildings that appear are King O'Koopa's castle, theShamrock Inn, and a few other homes.
