- “When compressed by a team ofToads, this catapult is capable of low-orbit launches. As the bladed end is lethal, this was likely a discarded prototype.”

TheSewing Scissors (known as theSewing Clippers in the British English version) are aThing inPaper Mario: Sticker Star. They are found inBowser's Snow Fort. Before boarding a cart,Mario must head right to find them sitting on a pile of crates. Once collected, they remain in Mario'salbum until they are into asticker at aSling-a-Thing station. Once they have been used as a sticker, they return to their original position. They can also be purchased from theShady Toad for 90Coins. The Sewing Scissors, like the other types of scissors, come in great handy during the second phase of battlingBowser inBowser's Sky Castle.
The Sewing Scissors take up only one square in Mario's album. If and when they are used in battle, five appear onscreen, drifting into a circle toward the center. They then slide offscreen and start cutting toward the center, snipping apart the screen and destroying any enemies thereafter. The player may also tap as they are cutting the screen to increase the overall damage.
The Sewing Scissors can also be placed into theSticker Museum as #1, alongside the other cut-related Things. Their basic description notes their similarity to tweezers and helpful purpose, while their museum description identifies them as a catapult tossed aside due to their dangerous edge.
